We had an opportunity to visit the OBX in March of 2023 and camp on the outskirts of Nags Head NC, just a short drive from the National Seashore. It was quite a memorable experience, very short due to blowing sand, but memorable. This was our youngest first time to see the ocean. He thought it was pretty cool. We met several people in the area, got to visit my brother and his family who have a vacation home on the island. After a few days of being sand blasted and walking on the billions of stickers at our campground, we headed back inland.
