Our day trip to Key West Florida brought us to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. The experience was fascinating as we got a glimpse of what life must have been like for both soldiers and prisoners at this historic site. The view from atop the wall was breathtaking, with the architectural beauty of the arched structures offering great photographic opportunities. We also decided to explore the Key West beach adjacent to the fort, and boy, were we blown away! The beach was absolutely gorgeous, and we spent a while just soaking in the beauty of it all. Without a doubt, this trip was well worth it.
