The wildlife at Fall River State Park in KS, and surrounding areas, is always fun to photograph. As silly as it may sound, I started photographing squirrels (of all things) at FRSP because we had a rowdy one that frequented our site, practically daring us to a showdown, so now I try to catch a picture of squirrels everywhere we go, which I have discovered look different in different parts of the country. While there are no squirrel pics in this post, there are some pretty cool birds, baby coons, landscapes, and probably a sunset or moonrise to top it off. Here are just a few of the many encounters I, and my family, have had in the Flint Hills of Kansas this Spring/Summer/Fall.
