Capturing America’s Beauty…One Click At A Time
As a Web Designer, I’ve always said, “every business has a story to tell”….I’d like to share mine with you.
My name is Misty. Among many other things, I am the Owner of America Photography, and the principal Photographer. My company is a bi-product of a chance opportunity that blessed my family recently. Let me tell you a little bit about it….
My husband of 33 years recently retired from a lifelong career, we sold our home and farm, which had been in his family for more than 80 years, packed up 2 of our 3 kids (leaving behind our eldest and his family), and decided we wanted to live life on our own terms….and travel. And so it began!
We jumped on the full time RV band wagon, and reinvented ourselves as we went down the road. We left Kansas nearly 4 years ago….everyday since has been a new adventure! So far, from the Midwest to the Deep South, Florida (which is a world all it’s own), the Carolina’s, and the Tennessee Valley headed West, from State and National Parks, to the people we have encountered along the way, not only do we get to experience life in a completely unharnessed way, we get to see things in person that most people may only see in photographs. And it has only just begun. Enter America Photography…
I have a lot to share with you, the ABOUT page and the BLOG on America Photography’s website is a perfect way for me to tell our story, share our adventures as we travel the country, and give you context to the photos that I take. When you finish catching up on the BLOG, please take a minute to visit the GALLERY, as many of my photographs will be available for purchase in both digital downloads and prints, but also some unique products you’ll want to check out. Our FB page is also a great place to find a myriad of info, recommendations, tutorials, etc.
Hope to see you there!

The wildlife at Fall River State Park in KS, and surrounding areas, is always fun to photograph. As silly as it may sound, I started photographing squirrels (of all things) at FRSP because we had a rowdy one that frequented our site, practically daring us to a...
